1.4.12 Released!
We have updated the CAWeb Publishing theme to version 1.4.12. The CAWeb Publishing Service team has completed these updates during our published Preventative Maintenance window, 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM. As part of this release we have also updated Divi to version 3.22.7
Accessibility and State Template Fixes
- Agency Logo Alternative Text: You are now able to add Alternative Text for your Logo image. You can control what is presented to the users using Screen Readers.
- Service Tiles: Alternative Text has been added for each Service Tile. The module will now pull Alternate Text from the Media Library image. Media Library Images must have Alternative Text for this to work.
- Full Width and Standard Panels: We have now added Screen Reader Text for the Read More buttons. This will now make these modules compliant when a Read More button is selected.
- For the Full Width Image and Standard Image modules we have enabled Alt Text. The module will now pull Alternate Text from the Media Library image. Media Library Images must have Alternative Text for this to work.
- Full Width and Standard Carousel Read More buttons. We have added Screen reader text which will be pulled from the Title element.
- Location module will now have Alternative Text. The module will now pull Alternate Text from the Media Library image. Media Library Images must have Alternative Text for this to work.
- Full and Standard Section Primary will now have Alternative Text. The module will now pull Alternate Text from the Media Library image. Media Library Images must have Alternative Text for this to work. Additionally we have added Screen reader text which will be pulled from the Title element.
- We have added a WAI-Aria role of “tablist” for the Divi Tab module.
- Full Width and Standard Post Slider Read More buttons have been updated. We have added Screen reader text which will be pulled from the Title element.
- Full Width and Standard Section Footers Read More buttons have been updated. We have added Screen reader text which will be pulled from the Title element.
Other Items
- Panels of type None: This style is not part of the State Template but is available in CAWeb Publishing. As part of the last update there were a couple changes that were not expected. We have now set the Title to be an H2 level and we have also removed default borders for this style.
- Images are now displaying correctly in a Full Width Carousel.
